  • Finding Nemo the Musical soundtrack available!

Kudos to "The Mouse Info" on magicmusic.net for this find.

The soundtrack for this new musical over at Animal Kingdom has been released on iTunes.

Click here to go to it! (you must have iTunes installed)

That's really awesome. This Disney/Apple partnership with iTunes content is really turning out to be a great thing for enthusiasts. This was completely unexpected.

Wow. It sure was cool to hear the lines clearly since when I saw it live, but the so-called "professional" recording lacks definately some of the zest and energy that the live cast has. And yes, I do mean in their voice acting. Dory seems to just be bland, as if she was hired because she has a nice voice. And Marlin...no comment, he's just not good at all.

This is almost not a cast recording, but more of a recording of the SONGS being sung by people. Frankly, I'm...kind of disappointed. But, hey, it's Robert Lopez music, so once again, nice to have something official...

Aw, I'm disappointed to hear that it's not a cast recording. The music is catchy and fun, but the performers were terrific! Particularly Nemo! I might rethink purchasing it.

wasnt this the new hyork workshop... where what 3 performers from the opening cast came from..

while the others were there to workshop it...

some elements added alter like how to say "yea we're going as a group" are obvious...

i love the background music... wish they released that separate as well..

Maybe they just took the rehearsal cd voices and post-processed it into a quality cd release and released it early on accident before getting real voices ;D

(The first part of that might be true anyways).

I finally downloaded it yesterday (which led to some antics with iTunes and my iPod), and I'm listening to it right now. Nemo's pretty good, Dory's not that bad, and Marlin's pretty unimpressive. Overall, I greatly preferred the Orlando cast, and really can't wait to get that audio rip.

I agree. I was not that impressed with the soundtrack. I definitely prefer the Disney cast.
