  • Has anyone here gone to WDW on St. Patty's?

I didn't realize it while I was planning my trip, but I'll be there this St. Patrick's Day. Does Disney do anything for it? I'm not expecting beer gardens or anything, but maybe if Epcot did something for the ocassion it would be cool.
Forget 'Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln,' Samantha Brown is Disney's most sophisticated animatronic.

I don't remember anything special being done for St. Pats day, except for them selling a limited edition pin. I believe PI used to do some celebration but the PI concept of doing special stuff like that is now dead in the water... so I would not expect much except for some beer drinking in the UK pavillion at EPCOT. Then again... I could be mistaken.

        Found this on allearsnet.com

"Pleasure Island will turn green to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with 'Sham Rock 'n' Roll' from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m on March 15-17 . There will be live music, videos by Irish artists, leprechauns, stilt walkers and more. There will be no admission charge to enjoy the activities taking place in the common areas of Pleasure Island."

There's also the Raglan Road Irish Pub in Pleasure Island as well
