  • Which is geographically correct

Every now and then I change the background on my laptop. So far I've used two renderings of the WDW resort property as my wall paper. Problem is each maps geography is completely different. Anybody have any ideas about which is more accurate? Right click the image and set each one as your background for the most detail.

    See for yourself:

They are pretty similar, but I would say looking at DTD hotels etc. the second one is more accurate.

I say the second one, it gives more value to the acres of undeveloped land on the WDW property. While the first one is more art instensive

The 2nd one is certainly newer. No Saratoga Springs on the first one and it still lists the Disney Villas which of course aren't there either.

I would go with the 2nd one and if it's ok with you, I am going to use it as my desktop as well.

                  Re: Which is geographically correct

While the 2nd certainly looks like the map on Disney's website, the first is a lot more artistic, colorful, eye-catching, etc. For wallpaper, I would chose the first.

The 2nd one. The 1st one still has Port Orleans Riverside listed as "Dixie Landings".

The first one has River Country listed on it, the second one is clearly a newer map and easier on the eyes.

The first on is also missing Pop Century. But it is fun to look at. The second is more restful. Nothing at all like my WDW vacations

For this reason I pick the first one. Why did they change it from Dixie Landings?

I like the amount of color the 1st one adds to my background but i did fear that things were that spread out as seen in the second. I do think it would be cool if things were really that close together as they appear in the first.

Also just so you know those maps are never drawn to scale same as the individual park guides. But thanks for the links I added the second one as my desktop image.
