  • Little Secrets at WDW

So, I was wondering what little "secrets" you all know about WDW, such as how there is actually a key under the mat at Muppets and things like that.

So what secrets do you want to share?

Look for the hidden mickey in the haunted mansion graveyard scene during the ride. I'll upload a pic when I'm at my laptop. Look at the phantoms hand inside the tomb. I think it's toward the end of the scene.

OK, maybe not a secret, but something I think people often forget. I know I do...

There is a hidden Nautalis inside the tree at Pooh's Thoughtful Spot.

Mr. Toad is in the Mansion's pet cemetery.

Dragon shaped rockwork can be seen from the bridge to Camp Minnie-Mickey.

This is kind of an old observation and it sort of doesnt exist anymore but if you hold the Studios map upside down the park layout is a giant Hidden Mickey. This all changed of course when they got rid of the Hollywood Bowl (which made up Mickeys rightear mirrorring Echo Lake as Mickeys left ear). Check it out if you havent seen it before.

In the Muppet pre-show area there is a "a net full of jello" hanging from the ceiling as a reference to the legendary female Mouseketeer and Disney teen movie darling - yep, you guessed it - Annette Funicello
