  • New Innoventions Signs Planned

I wouldn't call this major new but....there are plans for new signs at the entrances to Innoventions. You can see the official record here:

I'm hoping this is the start of a major rethink of Innoventions!

    Thoughts? Comments?

I would rather see them taking out Innoventions altogether and replacing it with more interesting stuff to do. Heck, i would even take the Sega arcade and Sunrise restaurant back anytime over frumpy Innoventions and anything Eisner did to damage EPCOT Center.

          Re: New Innoventions Signs Planned

All I'm hoping for is a return to the old-school Communicore feel. It would nice to finally have some natural light in there again & some semi-educational exhibits. If they went all the way and brought back the old layout with a main hallway, I'd be in heaven.

perhaps the new signs will be something like this....

By the way, I saw those "replacement" signs on my last trip and I thought they were "meh". They really didn't do any thing one way or another. I hope these new signs follow the old-school look of the near-by Project Tomorrow. Like I said before, I wonder if this some-what minor change will lead to a bigger overall change to that area.

          One word. SIEMENS.

BTW, I noticed this earlier but forgot to mention it, does anyone else find it interesting that the map they use on the record has the old layout for Communicore's plaza?

Since Microsoft is sponsoring some stuff at Disneyland, is there any chance they'll showcase some stuff at Epcot too?
