  • 4th of July Fireworks Schedule

    Here we are...

Magic Kingdom will have a 4th of July show on July 3rd and 4th at 9pm. That means you should go to MK on the 3rd if you have the chance.

Epcot will have Reflections of Earth with a special 4th of July Finale at 10pm on July 4th.

The Disney-MGM Studios will hold a special 4th of July show at 9pm on July 4th.
    __________________________________________________

Just an FYI... Wishes will NOT be presented on the 3rd and 4th of July, contrary to whatever the operating schedules say.

And no, the Disney-MGM Studios show is not "Sorcery in the Sky."

Will the show be Fantasy in the Sky, Wishes, or other?

The show's title is FitS but it is completely different. It will be a mirror show with perimeters, and patriotic music.

I prefer to watch from outside the park, then walk to Epcot and watch that show afterwards. Epcot's show is much better then the Studios show on the 4th of July. However, nothing beats the show at Studios on NYE!

Trust me, having seen all 4 parks NYE shows multiple times (Except DAK, only had NYE fireworks once. heh heh) I can say that the Studios has the best NYE show!

Studios can't beat MK's perimeters for me. Studios' show is much to short but it is nice anyway.

EPCOT is great because you get 9 or so shows in one. Plus, you have 2 RoEs and a PoE tag.

The Studios show on NYE is the longest of any of the park's shows... not sure what you mean about it being short. lol And I can see MK's show on the 30th then see Studios on the 31st!

And Epcot doesn't do the PoE tag on NYE.

Well, the actual New Year part, if I am not mistaken is rather short, but so are the others aren't they.
I could have sworn that I read on a schedule or TR somewhere that EPCOT did have PoE on New Year's Eve and that it was the last showing of the year for it.

Could be wrong but oh well...

Re: 4th of July Fireworks Schedule

Last PoE is on the 30th of Dec at Epcot. And Studios is the only park on NYE who's fireworks are dedicated entirely to that holiday!

The entire show is special and only done just for NYE.

But everyone has their right to which one they like the best! I'm not attacking you by any means, hope my posts don't come off that way!

                          Really?

                          Interesting.

What kind of show do they do? Music? Just pyro or other effects?

I've spent about five NYE at Epcot, including 1999 and 2000, and the next one at DL ... also did one at MK when I was young.

I can't imagine better fireworks than what Epcot does.

Studios NYE fireworks that I saw over '05/'06 (however you want to look at it) was quite long. In fact, it surprised me how long the actual show was as just when you thought it was over, it wasn't. And I wasn't even watching it over by the hat with most of the guests and it was still a great show! :cgrin:

                              Interesting.

I doubt I'll make it to WDW at NYE this year, but I like the sound of it ...
