  • Mystery Of The Missing 'Sci-Fi' Car Is Solved

The missing blue convertible that was removed from the entrance to the Sci Fi Dine In restaurant back in January has been returned to it's old spot.
It received a complete makeover during it's absence courtesy of the Disney 'fix-em-up' folks and now looks even better than new.
    Can anyone say
    Photo Op ?!?!

I think the better question is, how long until it becomes an eyesore again? :ap:

Before it gets to be an eyesore... we should have Aimster and BigPigletFan get in the car and have their picture taken together... in a reencarnation of any given scene from "Thelma and Louise".

Wonderpup, played in the movie by Brad Pitt. I think I will keep that one all to myself.

Can you be any more negative? The park and all things in it are there to be used. Heck, let's close the parks so that no one messes anything up.

Oye!!! I take issue when people say "Disney is made for kids"...

WRONG! Walt made it clear that Disneyland was made for both adults and children to have fun TOGETHER. Personally I think adults get more enjoyment out of Disney parks more so than kids. That same reasoning about Disney being for kids is what is causing a major slip at WDW.... like "the princess boutique" opening in the castle, the countless playgrounds in the parks, and the garbagy KB Toys crap they sell in the stores... only to name a few.

PLEASE!! continue to remind Disney management that we adults also enjoy the resorst and we adults are the ones who pay for the fun, the food and the souvenirs they sell... NOT the children. If you want to take your children there then so be it, but Disney parks are not "just for kids". That irks me.

                        Excellent post! You're spot on.

In addition, I don't believe that kids should be taught that they can just climb on everything. C'mon! Let's give them a sense of respect for their environments. If it's a jungle gym in a sand box that's one thing, but a nicely painted car for photo-opps is hardly a jungle gym.

Ok, I know that adults and children enjoy the parks equally but I am just saying you can't get mad at the kids for sitting in the car...now climbing on the hood of the car yes!

the parents of the children who are climbing on the car should be to blame- not the kids themselves!
