  • Vintage Park Maps

This thread is meant for you park map collectors out there. I was wondering if any of you have any old Disney park maps lying around. Feel free to post any scanned images on this thread.

Also, does anybody have any online photo albums of these old any Disney park maps, or even know of any sites that may have this as well?

I think I have a child's guide to the park. It was square, pinkish, and had Figment on the cover. I completely forgot about it until now, I suspect I still have it somewhere. I will do a bit of poking around for it, will get some scans if I can find it.

I have (or maybe had - I haven't seen it for a while) a poster of an ariel view of WDW. It was hand-drawn and featured a lot of characters interacting with the various attractions. It was from circa 1990 and so featured Roger Rabbit, C&DRR and the Ducktales characters as well as Mickey and friends and characters from the movies.

Too big to scan though I'm afraid. So why did I mention it? I'm not really sure.
      WDW - 1987 & 1991
      DLP - 1996, 2004, 2006 & 2007
      DLR - October 2011

I used to have these maps up in my room when I was a kid. Disneyland on one side, the Magic Kingdom on another and Epcot on another. They're probably stored away someplace at home. I'd have to dig them up.

I used to have 1981 WDW Magic Kingdom map, but I still have all of the park maps from 1989.

I got dozens going all the way back to 1971, but they're all in storage.

However you can always find them on eBay. Even the big wall maps. A quick "Search" brought up these two available right now for a few more hours:

              1971 Wall Map:

              http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=330149483885

              1979 Wall Map:

              http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=330149497219

Not the greatest pictures in the world, but you could always buy them and then you'd have the real thing!
