  • Typhoon Lagoon Kids Program

Typhoon Lagoon just started a Children's Activities Program similar to the ones available to Guests at the Disney Resorts. It is a supervised program for kids ages 3 to 9. It is available for Pre-Registration through the Concierge to Guests at Disney's Caribbean Beach and Pop Century Resorts, and on a first come first serve basis to all other resorts, up to our capacity of 40 children. Because the program is a Trial (It will run for 5 weeks to test guest response) it is included in the price of admission.

Kids are chaperoned by Disney's Ellis Trained Lifeguards, at a ratio of about 5 kids to every 1 lifeguard. The children are divided into two separate groups: one for ages 3 to 5 and one for ages 6 to 9. The activities provided very depending on the age group but include: Free Lunch, Pitch Burst Water Game, Sprinkler Fun, Water Balloon Toss, Pirate Treasure Hunt, Limbo, Dance Party with DJ, Trip to Shark Reef, Jr. Lifeguard experience, parachute games, volleyball, and much more! Kids must be potty trained to attend.

This is especially great for parents who want to relax for a few hours without the little ones, or family's with older children who have different taste in attractions than their younger siblings. The program runs from 10am to 2pm, with check in starting at 9:30 at Getaway Glen (Near Leaning Palms Restaurant).
