Thanks, as ever (!) for the photos.

This event should have been Disneyland 50th size. I mean, where are the real Disney big hitters? (Marty Sklar aside).

I know it was "thrown together", but is a couple of months not enough time to buy some plane tickets for Iger, Lasseter, Disney et al?

For a part of Disney history as significant as this, the turnout is shocking.


That being said, I'm still incredibly jealous of everyone who was/is there!

Excellent update Denise! Thanks for sharing and telling us all about it. I was glad to see you were part of the WDW Trivia group. If I lived on the right coast I would've signed up for that as well.

Thanks, I'll add some here also to share them on Micechat. I haven't had a chance. I am not sure that what evening shots I got can be put up tonight, my main camera decided to stop working (we got poured on like 4 times this evening!) But I'll see what I can do. If not today, then tomorrow, but I didn't get too much. I am happy with what I got earlier!

I hope so too! This camera is particular sensitive to water, and it barely got wet today! A few drops only, but it was raining a lot and it was humid and the camera was under my shirt for 20 minutes or so (but dry when I took it out). I do expect it to be okay, I opened it up when I got back to...well, dry out - even though it's not wet anywhere I can see it!

Thanks, I'm glad you liked the pics too. I liked seeing the moon near SE. I probably spent 10 minutes there, I'm pretty patient when I want something!
