Teppanyaki open ?

Did Teppanyaki finally open?

I was at Epcot very briefly yesterday (Wed) before I had to catch my flight back. We were walking around the WS, when my friend says "why are there people sitting in Teppanyaki" - seeing as we all wanted to eat there on Sunday and it was still closed. We were on our way out to catch the plane, so there really was no time in investigate.

The lights were on the other night, but I asked a few days back and they said it will open on 10/19. Maybe cast members are trying it out?

Maybe, but from what we saw, they looked a lot like guests to me. - Shorts and T-shirts type clothes at around 2:00 PM

I don't recall seeing any kids, but then we were walking close to the lagoon and just happend to look over to the right and saw people sitting at the tables.

Maybe it was workers eating lunch

It might be, I'd heard somewhere that there were soft openings - but I asked a couple of women who have been sitting often at a desk downstairs, and they said that it opens 10/19. It could be off-duty cast members, I just don't know! But it looks ready to go, if nothing else. I sure would have preferred it to Le Cellier the other day!
