Re: The jealousy is killing me

She was already planning to go to WDW (actually asked me to come with her on her honeymoon which I declined).

I know her so well I can plan her vacation. She could do the same for me. I also gave her plenty of opportunity to deline and add things before the final plan was made.

Though, I would never let anyone BUT HER plan my vacation either.

Maybe I could just scoot down there for a weekend...

But maybe your friends are disney-freaks? and if that is the case then, just be happy for them and proud of what you did. Screw the "jealousy". You'll have your chance.

BTW, feel free to contact me via PM when you are in the mood to give away your DVC points again.
I am sure it was her friends dream, after all she has a mouth and could have said no.

    No worries, be happy.
Book yourself a vacation and party.
Better yet, come to California and go to a micechat meet!

Maybe you shouldn't be thinking about what newlyweds are doing!

You can always borrow points from next year, and plan your trip now!

You could go on a trip down there too (a cheap one, if you don't have points left).

And next time, I'd probably not do so much - just give a subscription to Tour Guide Mike, or a book (and let them do the planning). I wouldn't let someone else plan my vacation for me!

I am assuming that your friend and her new groom wanted to go to WDW for their honeymoon and you are a very good , generous, and selfless friend for giving up your points. I am one who believes in karma of sorts and what goes around comes around usually at least 4 fold. cheer up you will be able to go next year and like it was said above, until then I would throw a hint or two as to a very nice "thank you" gift.

I also planned their whole Disney vacation for them (ADRs, Touring Plans and packing information and supplies).

Hey, you're in the DVC. You will be going again next year (at least) - look foward to that. (and call your friend and drop hints about a "thank you" gift from WDW that you would enjoy )

Well, what is stopping you from doing the same thing?

You only live once. Book yourself a vacation.
