my first trip to WDW in jan 2008

okay so i'm sure everyone is always posting these.. but yeah..

me and my family are going on one of those disney magical gathering trips in january of 2008.. jan 11-16th to be exact.. ...

my whole family is addicted to disney.. but not as much as me and my dad.. or me. i'm the craziest one... anyways..

what are the MUST do's...

where do the pin traders hang out and trade pins..
(we are bringing an arsenal of pins over there to hopefully trade with ya'll- lots of CM hidden mickey Disneyland resort pins, pirates anniversary LE pins and more..)

where do i have to go eat?? do i need to make reservations at any place...

i don't think we'll be heading on over to the waterparks as much since it will be kinda chilly still... but any help would be appreacitated... thanks in advance..

First off for most of the questions please refer to the sticky WDW for DL vets forum most of the key differences will be found there. Rather than rehashing the list and all.

Dining... I have my favorites but I would strongly recommend you hop on Dis or wdisneyw.com and check out the online menu's. You have a much larger selection than you do at DL. My Favorites are: MK - Liberty Tree Tavern, Epcot: Le Cellar, Biergarten and the princess dining in Norway are all great. MGM - 50's Prime time. AK - hop the bus to the AK lodge and eat at Boma's its awesome. Additionally I strongly recommend Ohana's at the Poly and Both Whispering Canyons and Artist point at the Wilderness Lodge. For something extra special Victoria and Albert's and the California Grill are also excellent.

As far as the pins are concerned, anywhere but traditionally Epcot seems to attract them and the Pin store in DTD at night you'll find people rushing in and out and trading all over the place... I recall last time I was there seeing a group of kids with stacks of 3 ring binders trading amongst themselves.

Don't worry about the weather being cold, all pools and water parks are heated year round. You'll be fine.
