There hasn't been anything yet, but expect pins and new merchandise to hit shelves by the Middle of December. The only thing I have been shown has normal lettering of the new name with Mr. Potato Head, Mickey as a Jedi, Stitch as a bellhop, The Incredibles, and Donald Duck playing a guitar. I think this will only be for merchandise, however.

Too bad most of it isn't worth buying. I was looking for "Disney-MGM Studios" merchandise early this month and all I found that I liked was a baseball cap.

I wouldn't worry. Disney has warehouses full of merchandise ... some of it MANY years old. Unlike other companies, Disney never throws anything out. Eventually, they get around to liquidating it through the outlets and Property Control for CMs (and their family and friends!).

Really 74? I understand at TDR, OLC puts leftover merchandise at the backstage Cast Store, but eventually, end up destroying anything that does not sell..like whatever is left from special events.

Yes, this is the new official logo. I'm not a huge fan of it. Its not awful, but the different font sizes for each word is a bit distracting.

I am not impressed. And the reason why I don't care much for this logo has to do with the new name, which I find to be stupid and unoriginal.

MGM and the musicals had a nice presence at the Studio park when it first opened. So it made lots of sense to me. Now, you probably were too young to remember.
