Hello everybody, welcome to our Trip Report.
I figured I'd wait a few days after the barrage of awesome Trip Reports slowed down a bit.
For our 3rd ever trip to "The World" we brought along Belle's Mom for her first trip to WDW. In fact, it was her first trip east of Colorado. EVER. They usually choose Hawaii as a vacation destination.
It was also a good time for her to get away. It's been a rough year for the Clinkerbelle's and for my Mother In-Law since my Father In-Law passed away last December. This was one of the first things we TOLD her she was doing with us and she really did enjoy her trip.
Day One - Travelling to the World and Dinner at 'Ohana
So bright eyed (not really) and bushy tailed (hopefully not) we started our journey in the wee hours of October 18th. The RoadRunner picked us up at the not-so-bright-eyed hour of 5am and we made our way to LAX.
Waiting for our plane to start boarding

On the plane

Upon arriving in Orlando, we got lost finding our way to Disney's (not so) Magical Express

But we did get to watch TV (although, no Mickey on our bus
)

My Belle

Josh and Yeti are ready for fun

We arrived at our hotel (Port Orleans French Quarter) and checked-in

I liked the lobby of this hotel.

After checking in, getting our room and watching a bit of the awesomeness that is the "Top 7 (more like 107) Must See's at WDW" (they should offer that on DVD) we made our way to the bus to have our dinner at 'Ohana.
After taking the bus to MK, we went to hop the resort monorail

'Ohana

Doesn't that thing on Amanda's head look like the pictures from "The Sixth Sense"? Am I twisted or what?

I'm tired, just give me the bread pudding and nobody get's hurt

I have this same pose, but from the other side for our 2nd night at 'Ohana. You'll see.

After dinner we stepped out to the dock outside of the Polynesian to watch the fireworks.

Took the boat back to MK and then on the bus back to the hotel.

Showers and sleep were in order before we were to hit MK the next morning.
Stay tuned.
