Anyone have experience with going to WDW in mid-April?

My parents and I are thinking about a long weekend at the GF, the resort we always stayed in while I was growing up (nostalgia!). We were first thinking Jan, but I can't do that for work reasons. Now we are looking at April 10 - 14... it seems that would miss most of the spring breaks. But especially since it is a long weekend trip, I am worried about encountering crouds. WE don't expect to be in the parks the majority of the time, as we will be spending a lot of time at that lovely resort (tea time, water mice, pool). So maybe timing does not really matter.

Anyway, anyone go in April? We've never been, and I am wondering if it might be better to wait til May... but then schools might be getting out. What do you all think?

That would be the tail end of Spring Break.
It seems that there isn't a "down" time anymore but I think the crowds in May might be a little better.

I would shoot for May, We where there around easter/spring break once and it was extremely crowded, worse it was crowded with a lot of drunken college students... I don't think we will go that route again...
