    Spaceship Earth the attraction isn't going anywhere, but this coming Monday Epcot will hold a private event (which I have been invited to) where Imagineering will transform the the iconic golf ball into the Death Star using digital projection.

    How would you feel about future Star Wars events such as Star Wars Weekends being held at Epcot while DHS is under construction?

    Would it be a good idea, allowing guests to enjoy more at a full park during the events? Or would it be a bad idea, drawing attendence away from DHS which is suffering from closures and construction?

    I doubt they are going to bring back Star Wars Weekends since they want people to think of WDW and DHS specifically as a place that always has Star Wars, not just on some special weekends.

      I can live with it just being a projection, which can be turned off anytime they wish. I'm assuming this is just for shows or something, and short term. Did I miss anything in the article that said otherwise?

            What exactly was this private event about?

            i think moving SW weekends to Epcot would be a terrible idea especially when all the SW attractions are in one park.
