  • Which tunes would you like in WDW's 6 CD 50th Anniversary collection in 2021?

IN 2005 I was given a 6 CD collection of music and recordings of attractions for Disneyland's 50th Anniversary. It came in a red box and included a thin, but impressive book.

I hope there is a similar collection in 2021 for WDW's 50th. If there is, what recordings (besides everything), would you like included?

    I'd like:

The Sherman Brothers great music for a good 3D movie, "Magic Journeys"

Brief segments from "RCA Leads the Way" (in Space Mountain in the 1970s),
    and "If You Had Wings"

Several songs from "The Golden Horseshoe Revue."

Everything from "The American Adventure" and "The Hall of Presidents"

    "Listen to the Land"

    "The Universe of Energy"

A recording from the monorail spiel with that great voice from the 1970s and 80s. (I think he worked at KFI in L.A. and may have been used in the 90s and beyond.)

Also a few seconds of the 1970s Fantasyland attractions exit spiel, "When the car stops, get out to the right. Get out to the right, please." (For me it's America's "Mind to gap!")

A couple of the recorded voices that played in the WDW information radio station after you entered the property and drive 7 miles to the giant Magic Kingdom parking lot.

If space is ltd., feel free to exclude the Gilbert Gottfried version of the Tiki Room.

    All of these!
Also, EVERYTHING from Horizons. The entire 15 minute ride.

Same thing for World of Motion.

    Ditto Journey Into Imagination.

I'd love the music from American Journeys. My all time favorite Circlevision film

Music from the original version of El Rio del Tiempo.

Music from The Making of Me.

    Something from Sunny Eclipse

I'm sure there will be more.

I'd like to see a WDW set focus on different attractions to the Disneyland set (which I have and it's great). For me it would have to include

      one little spark
      horizons soundtrack
      fun to be free
      classic monorail speil
      the Mickey Mouse revue
      tower of terror
      golden dreams
      if you had wings
      dreamflight
hold in not your hats and glasses from big thunder
      festival of the lion king
      hall of presidents original narration
      socery in the sky
      illuminations
      spectromagic

More thoughts that have come to mind:

        The original "Oh, Canada" theme.

        Music from The Timekeeper

The ride spiel from Twenty-Thousand Leagues Under the Sea

Music from Cranium Command, and perhaps the entire ride soundtrack.

Of course I want high quality versions of obscure stuff that isn't available anywhere else, especially long-gone Epcot attractions. Beyond that, my favorite part of 2013's two disc set were the tracks that tried to recreate the feeling of being on the ride, sound effects and all. Those are a lot of fun.

          EDIT: And everything Captain EO!!!

If anybody out there is interested, I spent a few years assembling an audio collection, available for free:

            http://passport2dreams.blogspot.com/...lt-disney.html

It's limited to Magic Kingdom with an extra emphasis on the 70s, so all of the EPCOT stuff isn't in here (and really should be its own thing), but several of the items some have wished for may be found within.
