I totally missed your post! But thanks, I actually really like them at MGM. I didn't even take photos of all the lights! I wanted to get to the fireworks. All 2 minutes of them.

I love the pics of the Osborne lights, i can't wait to see them in real life next month, they look amazing!.
Do you know if Tusker House at Animal Kingdom is going to open on schedule?, i think it was due to open again on the 17th but i haven't heard anything about it lately. I have reservations for breakfast there on christmas day.

I haven't heard anything about Tusker House NOT opening on time, so I'm guessing it will. I'm sure it will be open in plenty of time for you! And I hope you enjoy the Osborne Lights, I actually REALLY like the dancing part! I recommend that you don't go at rope drop, but wait at least a half hour. There will be fewer crowds.

Thanks for the tip, i will do that, i've heard that the dancing lights show is on a couple of times a night so we might stay and watch the later one as well as i'm sure it's something we will all enjoy a lot.

It is pretty continual, there isn't an "earlier" and "later". There is for Fantasmic, though.

If you get there at rope drop, go to the Writers Stop and have a hot chocolate until the crowds dissipate.

Thank you! I don't get tired of hearing about my pics, whether I think they are spectacular or not (I've been very happy with them this year). I am not good with personal compliments, Dustysage knows that. But on the pics, anytime!

I just wanted to add a few more pics I have - this was practice for me, I have never used a tripod for the Osborne Lights before. It really allows a lot of flexibility! The one bad thing - some people may think you are photopass!

I also wanted to mention again - don't go at rope drop. If you are early, get a hot chocolate or tea at the Writers Stop. Even a half hour makes a big difference! I actually prefer this location than the last, it feels much more open and less cramped. But I should have more Osborne Lights in the next few weeks, when I have more time to be there. I usually go a few times per season, I really love them (and I think the dancing lights are a great addition).

Denise, I'm counting on you to provide this same spectacular quality of photos when they put up the Lights of Winter in Epcot. I'll see 'em for myself in early December, but I just can't wait that long!!!

I am going to try to get the castle tomorrow, and I guess it's another week or so until the Lights of Winter? I am seeing 11/23. I hope I can do a good job, I don't want to let anyone down with bad photos. The castle looks like it must be spectacular, I'm not sure if I can do either justice yet - but I'll try! Thank you very much for the nice compliment.

Seriously, I've only used my tripod like 3 times now! Maybe 4. I had a nighttime Disney photo site in the late 90's, but haven't done anything since then with night photography until the past 6 weeks. But thanks for the vote of confidence!

I am VERY excited to see the castle tomorrow, I am going to be going nuts all day waiting to do that. I'll go there after I finish with what else I'm doing (getting pins for someone at all the resorts, and hopefully getting Christmas and update pics along the way). I really think that it will be amazing. And I'll get the Lights of Winter pics as soon as I know they are up. Just for you! (for being too nice).
