  • I'd still like that large theater in a new section of Main Street, please.

This was announced then cancelled. Please make it happen, Bob.

The full-scale but 30-to-40 minute Broadway-style productions of Aladdin and Frozen at the large theater in Disney's CA Adventure
have been spectacular, wonderful (though Aladdin ran for too many years) and an excellent first grand theatre experience for many kids.
The shows in the DCA theater is one of those things like Radiator Springs Racers & the outdoor view of it from Flo's V8 Cafe
that made me feel like I got my money's worth.

I'd love for this to come to WDW's Magic Kingdom with shows of Mary Poppins, Mulan, Peter Pan, etc.
with no show running for more than 3 years in a row.

The Lion King would also be great, but it should just come to DCA. WDW has enough Lion King
with the excellent Festival of the Lion King show in the Animal Kingdom.

I’m not sure if WDW originally intended to run the Broadway style productions DCA has, but even a indoor venue for the variety musical themed shows such as Disneyland’s Mickey and the Magical Map and HK Disneyland’s Mickey and the Wondrous Book (which shares the same theme song as the current fireworks show) would have been a plus for WDW, as the Magic Kingdom no longer has a venue for even those shows (the Tomorrowland outdoor theater no longer exists).

Disneyland's Mickey & the Magical Map show has some talented performers,
      but
it is to DCA's '"Aladdin" & "Frozen" shows
what Bob Chapek is to Walt Disney,
what Michael Eisner & Frank Wells (Eisner's first ten years) were to Michael Eisner & Paul Pressler,
What Superstar Limo was to Soarin' Over CA,
what the $12.95 Main Street candy canes are to Dole Whip floats,
and what "Wall-E" and "The Incredibles" are to "Cars 2."

My only real concern about a big theater on Main Street would be drawing crowds that would destroy the small town ambiance. If they could do it in a way where the queue and crowds were “hidden” in some way, then it would be a good addition.

It wouldn't have been ON Main Street; it would've been in a new square that fit with the Main Street architecture. They could make the exterior smaller by having part be underground, The Magic Kindom's surface is already on the second floor with an extensive tunnel system under where we walk.

So that large crowds for parades and fireworks don't already ruin the ambiance? The theater that was planned would have been off of the main street bypass so wouldn't directly impact Main Street.

Oh, they do ruin the ambiance. But at least it seems to only be a couple of times a day. The crowds for the fireworks are in a category all by itself because it is so horrific. My concern was really only about it getting even worse.
