  • Joe Biden coming soon to The Hall of Presidents

President Joe Biden's audio-animatronic is being prepared to appear in The Hall of Presidents:

Florida’s Magic Kingdom theme park quietly closed the Hall of Presidents attraction without any advance announcement on Inauguration Day as Biden was preparing to be sworn in as the 46th pres…

Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln would be the better exhibit. Never liked the Hall of Presidents.

I had hoped the attraction would of "silently closed" way before the election ever happen. But nope, WDW still thinks that this attraction can work in today's era.

And despite using the "most advanced technology", some of the AAs took....*ahem* creative liberties (George Washington, John Tyler, James Buchanan, Ulysses S. Grant, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, Gerald Ford, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump all fall in the "What the heck was going on in Imagineering?)
Disney World unveiled an animatronic Donald Trump today. Here's how the rest of the robots compare to the actual presidents.

I wonder they will stick Trump’s AA in the back where he can’t be seen well. I’d be happy if they completely remove it .... but because the attraction is meant to show ALL US presidents .... I think it will remain.... but should not be prominent in the foreground.

Dear Peoplemover Fans, If you want to see a new attraction that at least mimics the 1967 Peoplemover in a future Tomorrowland remodel, you need to write to the powers-that-be, and let them know. If you don't - Then the next time Tomorrowland is remodeled, you will see a land barren of any "Peoplemover" type attraction.

you know it would feel far too unrealistic when Trump stands there in silence

I'll respect Dusty's goal of not being political here by NOT naming any Presidents,
but one former POTUS could be presented Silence of the Lambs style.

Or he could be kept in Liberty Square, but moved into the Haunted Mansion.

I think it would be a mistake if they decided to "cancel" any particular president from the exhibit. Once they open that can of worms, it could end up with many of the presidents being removed, and I'm not just talking about Nixon, Harding, Andrew Johnson, or John Tyler who joined the Confederacy after leaving office. And then what of the 18 presidents who owned slaves, which includes Washington and Jefferson?

Trump's animatronic was outsourced to the same company that made the Jack animatronics for POTC. For Biden they will make it themselves.
Regardless what you think of Mr. Trump, his animatronic looked really off.

                  So just like him then?

Sorry, Dusty, I couldn't resist. I accept the wrist slap and will put myself on the naughty step for 5 minutes.

Are they going to have a Jill animatronic, too, to help him remember his lines?

I'll think I'll stick with Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. At least you can hear Paul Free's voice in the attraction still.

My last visit in 2019 it was 50/50 applause and boo's for Trump. Literally a civil war in the audience.

EXCELLENT! The First Amendment in action!
Kids will remember that & the Hall of Presidents will be more exciting.

I remember in hearing a dozen people hissing Nixon in the late 70s, and if memory serves a few hissed Carter in the summers of 1979 & 1980.

Joe Biden has arrived, and his time is notably short and he doesn't have a speech. Anyone know the reasoning behind this? Is it due to the runtime?
