Christmas takedown date?

There are a lot less decorations this year, so I'd imagine they can take them down pretty fast. The GF gingerbread house usually only makes it a couple days past New Years.

WDWFigment 's blog has coverage of the topic in this article. According to him, a lot of the holiday offerings end December 31st-January 5, although decorations might still be there on the 7th.

There is no firm date as far as I can tell, but the general practice is to keep Christmas decorations up until the weekend after New Years Day. They don't take them all down at once, though, it can take a week.

Anyone know a firm date when they begin taking down the Holiday Decorations at the DW parks?

First or second Sunday in January?
