  • Chip & Dale's Animated Heads Debut?

I was told that the animated heads for Chip & Dale finally debuted during the stage show of MVMCP. But nearly every YouTube video I found doesn't show it very well. Can someone confirm this either with a photograph or a really good video link?

I also found through the comments on YouTube that the show was the first time the animated heads were set side-by-side with the non-animating heads, specifically the mice next to the non-animating head of Pluto. Again, can anyone confirm this?

Please and thank you in advance!

I can confirm it from working on the show. They debuted Nov 12 in Celebrate and Mickeys Twas the Night.

Any good video examples? I'm curious to see how their mouths move given how small they are to the rest of the face elements, as well as if they are noticeable from a distance.

don't have any closeup pictures but they did have the new mouths and eyes in the night before christmas show. really made them look more realistic and the kids in the audience loved it.

I don't have any. I can say that they look really good, the mouths were made slightly bigger to make room for the articulation device. I have not seen the show from a distance, cause Im in it, but i assume they are noticeable. If you plan to see the show, I suggest getting a front row seat.

I wish I had that luxury, but sadly, I'm one of the people that only visits a Disney park once every 5 years.

That said, we are due to a trip to one of the properties soon. Last visit was 2002.

Well just get there about an hour or so before show time. Then you are more or so able to get a front row seat.

I saw the actual show last week. Yup it definitly seems like Chip and Dale animated heads are here!

The only heads you can tell that were not animated were Pluto, the white horses, the reindeer, the ragdolls, and the wooden soldiers but of course that's mainly because these characters dont have actual dialogue so they can get away with it.

I wish they would get animated heads for Mickey at Fantasmic, Timon in Festival of the Lion King, and Rafiki in the DAK parade.

There was a rumor a few months ago that Timon was getting a talking head soon. Guess that was just a rumor and nothing more. I'm sure it will happen soon though, as the guests really seem to like the talking heads.

^^Timon in the Lion King show in i think Paris (or is it Hong Kong?) has always had an animated head.

And I remember Rafiki in the MK's Legend of the Lion King (the puppet version) had an animated head too.

I'm just wondering when the Daisy Duck head will make it's MK debut. There is one being used for the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse stage tour that is going around the country, but why her's hasn't showed up yet is rather curious.

Wait, SparkyLD, do you work in WDW or DL? Cuz u said here that you worked on Mickey's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, & you said in another thread that you auditioned for the Pixar Play Pals Parade.

Just an extention of the question I originally asked: I saw that they were using the animated heads during the X-Mas parade special, what few parts I saw.

Did Chip & Dale have a segment where they used the new heads?

Nope. Haven't seen them with animated heads.
