  • Extra Magic Hours

Hello everyone. I'm a bit new and this is my first thread, just to warn you!

I have a question for all of you. I read on the WDW website about the Extra Magic Hours and I've made up a little schedule for myself of what parks will be open early and late on the days my family and I are going to be at the resort (March 10-13). I know that the morning Extra Magic Hours mean that the park opens to guests staying on propery an hour before the opening time on the schedule, but is it possible to find out beforehand how long the Extra Magic Hours are for the evening? The WDW website reads as follows: "Each day one of the Disney Theme Parks opens an hour early or stays open up to three hours after regular Park closing, so Disney Resort Guests* can enjoy easy access to select attractions..." (italics mine). Is there a way to know just how long the parks will be open after regular park closing? It's pretty vague. Can you guys help me out with this? Thanks for everything!

    Re: Extra Magic Hours

If you go to the official website for Walt Disney World, and click on the calendar page, you will be able to find out the hours for each park for the month of March. You can then figure it out from there. Extra Magic Evening hours begin after the official closing time for that park.

I have to agree I've never seen Evening Magic Hours be any less than 3 extra hours.

Welcome to the boards! I hope you have a wonderful trip.

I've never seen them be less than 3 hours at night.. but when we went in August, we checked into the resort and they gave us a schedule of the times for the EMH of each park for the week we were there.
