  • Saturday vs Sunday

So, I'm bringing my disabled mother (already have the book!) to Magic Kingdom for her 50th birthday. Which would be better, this upcoming Saturday or Sunday? Which day has lower crowds in general?

If I was going to the MK on a weekend, I generally prefer a Sunday.

I thought it was quite helpful with the little details - like how bumpy the ride is for people in wheelchairs and letting us know which theaters had wheelchair seating up front or in the middle instead of waaaaaaay in the back (my mom is legally blind, so she can see somewhat - but in the back of any of the theaters, it'd be one large blur.)

I thought it was a good book, as well. Although I wrote a review, I have not been to WDW with a disabled person but my job helped me a little with those kinds of details.

www.touringplans.com takes a great scientific approach to crowd levels. Nonsubscribers can still see about 2 weeks out if you click on the "Crowd Calendar" It tells you which park is best and what the crowd level will be for any given day on a 1-10 scale.

Looks like Sunday is statistically better.
