So, luckily, they won't be able to develop all the land - even if they wanted to.
They did that with the Disney's Wilderness Preserve, which is a fantastic place (unfortunately no longer open on weekends).

They were right at the side of the road. I really like seeing deer on the path between Fort Wilderness and the WL, sometimes I'll see 10 - 20 during that walk.

The multiple locks are just more links in the chain, allowing different contractors/vendors to have their own access with their own key, instead of having too many keys out there.

Thanks for the pictures! It's really interesting to see what has changed since the last time I was there.

What was in the spot where T-Rex is being built? Was it just empty space previously?

Thanks! I don't know anything about construction, but I do know it looks different every time I see the building (T-Rex as well!)

I liked the padlock one too - and they aren't even closing up that area as tightly as they did (i.e. - normally I had to poke the camera through, this time fairly wide open).

I would be surprised if T-Rex had a backstory, as Disney doesn't play up the PI ones. (although the AC one does inside for sure).

Denise you read my mind today. I logged on this morning thinking, "I'd love to see new Kingdom Tower pictures" and here they are. Thanks again.

Do those horizontal "white" bands look to be of a finished material? I'm trying to get an idea of what this thing is going to be finished with.

Great pics though. I love the fence with three padlocks on it. Must be something very important in there.

Oh yeah, I hope the T-rex building eventually has some more detail to it. I'm also curious to see if the building will have a "back story" like the other detailed stories the rest of the Pleasure Island buildings have/had.

Some larger (the outer fence was taken down from T-Rex, now more walkway):

This deer (and one other) was on the way back (in my car) near the Contemporary:
