I don't know what they should do with this attraction but it needs an overhaul. I like the idea of moving the entance over to Toontown and make it a Cars attraction. Have the cars characters talking to the kids while they ride around Raditator Springs

I am pretty sure that they already have plans for the cars characters, and it isn't for anything in MK.

But I would be infavor of converting this to Electric and then at the end of the ride talk about electric conversions and how you can do it yourself!

Either that take it out and use the foot print for a full blown Toon Town Expansion! WOOT WOOT!

Something disturbs me about riding around in Cars characters. It doesn't really fit into the way the movie worked, from what I could recall. There weren't ever any humans in the movie. I think if the idea were to work, the vehicles should be interacting with each other, not their passengers. Although I would vote for removal in favor of Toontown expansion (Roger Rabbit to Florida, anyone?)

The toonification continues... even in rumor form. They need to keep it as is, just update the track and cars. A futuristic racetrack (think F-Zero)... now THAT'S something I'd want to ride.

I'd like to see a re-do like how it is in Hong Kong.

LOL, yah I guess that wouldn't make it safe for the kids to drive. But I'm thinking of that sort of theme to it. It's in tomorrowland... so make it tomorrowland! I don't even think Cars fits into Toon Town to be honest.

how about they get rid of that damn track the car rides on... I know its for kids and everything, but I mean that track does nothing for the ride itself, aside from making it even more unenjoyable.

I would love a cars theme, or something completely different... All I know is that this ride needs to go. I dont think I have been on it since 1981.

I agree. The concept behind Toon Town is that the toons are aware of their being toons and the existence of humans. Neither exists in the world of Cars.

the best bet maybe to blow it up and use all the real estate for expansiion of the 2 lands.

But they probably won't do that

That would be nice to see, but the current theme of the MK's TL is not apart with that of HKDL's more Toon design of TL, therefore, Autopia.. as built in HKDL, would look very out of place at the MK's TL. Not to mention, HKDL's Autopia has more theming and identity in it than the entire MK Tomorrowland!!!

They could add a Stitch theme.

What's with the recent trend in Mice Chatters wanting to remove classic attractions? I hadn't ridden the Speedway in many years and just did with my family over the holidays. I actually enjoyed it. It wasn't nearly as fun as Autopia in California, but it was still fun.

I think it would be cool if they could make it electric/hybrid and trackless. I'm sure there's a way to make it trackless and still allow you some freedom of driving.
