That's the day that WDW executive 'leadership' team gets even more greedy and money-grubbing and will CLOSE two parks early on the same night for hard-ticket events ... Night of Joy moves to the Park Formerly Known as The Disney-MGM Studios, so the MK can host the earliest MNSSHP in history (BY WEEKS) just days after Labor Day.

Will they still have MP&PP the week prior like last year too?

I'm beginning to think that the hard-ticket events will run year long now and not just in the fall. Those poor people who work at DTD/WOD.

okay....they need to get to get it out of their systems this Sept. Cause next Sept is when our next trip is planned. During Labor Day......and I'd rather not dodge parties.

The sad thing is that they can get away with it. I'm sure there will be plenty of people thrilled that they can go to MNSSHP nearly two months before Haloween actually happens.

ORDDU: My sisters and I are waiting for the day when the Disney theme parks are divided into THREE different time periods for hard ticket events! 9 am 'til 12 Noon will be reserved for the regular day guests.

ORWEN: 12 Noon 'til 5 pm will be reserved for some newly thought up hard ticket event that will tick everybody off.

ORGOGH: Then from 5 pm 'til midnight it'll be the Prissy Pirates Party an' it'll keep on bein' a year long thing fer ev'rybody ta complain 'bout. Lord knows I've done my own dang *itchin' 'bout it!!

When we are there in LESS THAN 2 WEEKS they are going to have a couple of P&P events. How does this impact attendance at the other parks? We'll be at DS and EPCOT those evenings and can even stay late as they have EMH those nights (How crowded are EMH nights at DS and EPCOT anyways?)

About the time MK closes, the other parks attendance goes up, mainly because people need somewhere to go.

It's a nice way for Disney to almost force people to get the park hopper huh? LOL

ORDDU: The more my sisters and I think about this greedy way of doing business, the more disgusting it sounds. It's not enough that you have to pay sky high prices for your air fare, your hotel rooms, your parks admissions, your food and other little expenses along the way; but now you have to plan your fun times around Disney Management's little games so they can get even MORE money out of everyone else. It's the epitome of greed and very bad customer relations. One of these days the general public has got to stop letting them get by with such things. Annual Pass holders don't suffer quite so much, since they can return often. But for someone buying one day passes, it's simply not a fair way to treat them.

ORWEN: Well, this is what happens when you continue to let the Disney villains run the parks!! Rumor has it that Jay Rasulo is really Ratcliffe from Pocahontas in disguise!!

Well, rumor is DONNA SUMMER's sister, Mary Gaines Bernard (a soul/gospel singer) will perform at Night of Joy this year... so there is a good excuse to close ex-MGM early (since it can't be closed for good). I am not a bible pusher but I may even go to see Mary!!! And I don't mean the Madonna type, even though I did see Madonna's girley show several years ago... LIVE!
