  • Penny Presses and Mystery Pin Machines

Out of curiousity approximately how many penny presses are located throughout the resort?

And on a similar thought do they still have the mystery pin machines at epcot?
The fountain of youth really is in Florida... thats why they built Walt Disney World where they did.

I read somewhere that the mystery pin machines had been taken out and the pins were being used as the GWP. I'll see if I can find where I read that...

Penny (and quarter) presses - I am going to guess over 100.

You can ask for a print out of all the locations from any CM that has a printer. Ask at your resort lobby, Last time I asked for a print out (4 - 5 years ago at least) it was about 5 pages long, and assuming 20 locations per page, thats how I arrived at 100 locations (throughout the entire WDW)

There's a whole site dedicated to this topic here: http://www.parkpennies.com/wdwwaltdisneyworld/wdwpennies.htm

They have lists of all the coin presses on the property in a variety of formats.

The best one I think is the PDF version - 16 pages long in a checklist format so you can track all the coins you have/need to complete your collection. There are literally hundreds of coins in each park, you could spend almost as much pressing coins as you do on the trip itself!

As far as I know, this is correct. I have not seen the machines since the first of the year and when I was there in March the machine pin series was being given as GWP.

              And they change too

There were some that were only at special events and things like that.

Glad too see my guess was at least in the ballpark
