What's your favorite part of a WDW trip?

I was thinking about Aimster...(grumble,jealous,grumble) and that the lucky "dog"(heehee, I made a pun) is at POP this morning, and it got me thinking about my very favorite part of a WDW trip.

For me, it's starting the morning at POP. Walking from our room to the food court. The cool morning air, the bright colors, the busy activity. Having breakfast all ready for you....all ya gotta do is put in on the tray and enjoy! My favorite? Frosted flakes, a croussaint, and OJ. And then, sitting outside while you eat...talking about what you'll see that day, what you'll do. Just waking up there...at POP and having that anticipation of the day's activities. I LOVE it!

Living in the NE I would have to say the weather first followed by entering the WDW Resort area for the first time. I compare it to the scene in Roger Rabbit when Eddie first drives into ToonTown and everything becomes animated.

For me it's the actual planning, I love it, scheduling ADR's for each park, setting up tours etc. Dosne't matter if its for me and my family or a client, every trip feels like I'm going to WDW again! Apart from that it's got to be walking under the WDW railroad and seeing the castle down Main Street USA for the first time... Thats when it feels "real" to me and I leave all other cares behind...

My favorite part of a WDW trip has anything to do with the Monorail. Just seeing the monorail glide on the beam as we drive on World Drive is exciting. Waiting for the monorail, boarding, riding it ... I just love it.

The arches are it for me, I swear the atmosphere changes and there is just something in the air once you drive through them.

isn't that weird? I wonder what that is. For me, it's walking through the gate thingie, into the MK itself. Your whole feeling changes. A smile is permenately plastered to your face.

There really is this special feeling that sweeps over you......I wonder what that is. And I always wondered if it happens to other people or if it was just me.

or epcot. I like walking around there. But my favorite part is the beginning period.

And for me? Seeing Tigger. No Disney visit is complete for me until I see him. I get so excited and all hell usually breaks loose. LOL!

Seeing Illuminations for the first time, then going back to the Grand Floridian and knowing tomorrow's going to be another perfect day at WDW.

For me it's of course clearing the gates at the Magic Kingdom but also eating at all the novelty restauraunts at MGM and walking around Epcots world showcase at night. Just began enjoying WS in the past couple of years but it's always one of my favorite parts of the trip now.

I agree! I love planning my trip! Another favorite part is getting to MK early and jumping on the first train on BTMRR!!!!

My fave part is wandering the Parks, especially Epcot, just relaxing and taking in the atmosphere.
