Ok for me Splash Mountain wins, even if Ripsaw is a lot more exciting. Personally hearing Zippidy Doo Dah can make your day/week/month

To me Men In Black is the ultimate! The show and the themeing from preshow to unload all ties together!

The Simpson's win this HANDS DOWN! I love this ride!

IDK about this one. If I was a 12 year old boy it would be Sinbad's, but Indy is classic. I am going to call this one a tie.

6. Space Moutain vs. The Mummy
If I had to choose one, I would choose The Mummy. Great story, great set up.

7. Dinosaur vs. Spiderman
SPIDERMAN all the way! Even though I love Dinosaur oh sooo much, I could not live without Spiderman!

8. Winnie the Pooh vs. Cat in the Hat
Hmmmm Winnie the Pooh! I love being able to take my little nieces on this ride! I LOVE IT!

Lights Action Motors here! I love explosions, and loud cars!

Is it really fair to compare Star Tours to Simpsons? I mean, I haven't been on Simpsons, and I know that Star Tours is basically the only simulator left in WDW, but I would certainly hope that a simulator made today (even if it just used existing technology) would be a LOT better than a simulator that's over a decade old (older than that).

Why not compare to Soarin'?

For Splash Mountain and Dudley Do Right, Splasg wins hands down! DDR has a great drop but theit cardboard character cutouts just don't cut it in my book.
Again, Philharmagic wins because the stage disappearing act is unparalled in the 3-D or 4-D movie world.
Buzz and MIB are a tie because their both fantastic.
Simpson's win over Star Tours anyday. Star Tours desperatelt needs some updating.
Indiana Jones wins over Sinbad because Indy has great appeal for action, romance, fire, etc. Overall, Indy's show is amazing
In my opinion, Universal tried too hard w/ Mummy. Space is a classic that can't be beat. Hey, Just my opinion.

I love Pirates but Universal did a phenomenal job w/ Jurassic. The suspense, ambience, and effects were awesome. That drop was awesome, too.

As much as I like Disney, some of the head to heads don't do justice to Universal.

For example

Star Tours vs the Simpsons

Star Tours is currently Disney's best similator in the US. Universal's best simulator is Spiderman...currently the gold standard.

Also for example:

Philharmagic vs Shrek 4D:

Again, Philharmagic is Disney's best 3D experience. T-2 is Universal's...not Shrek. So these two would be a fairer comparison. I haven't seen T-2 (first time later this year!) but from what I have read, it is more technologically advanced. I do love Philharmagic, so I'll reserve judgement till later.

I applaud Universal for giving us here in the States the opportunity to have state-of-the-art rides and shows...Disney seems to leave their best these days for Japan. With the Harry Potter ride on the way, things will only get better.

Usually, I sit these out, but I'm bored so I'll play:

1. Splash Mountain vs. Dudlye Doo Righs Ripsaw Falls ... Splash and it isn't even close. One of Disney's best. I just wish they'd clean the filthy logs once in a while and get all the effects in proper show condition. I just rode Ripsaw for the first time recently (only attraction I had skipped since IOA opened) and it's just godawful. It exists only to soak you more than a shower and ruin your clothes. It's just not fun at all. Dreadful.

2. Philharmagic vs. Shrek 4D ... PhilharMagic takes this by a mile. Classic Disney is going to always beat hip for the moment 'tude that Shrek has.

3. Buzz Light Year (or Toy Story Mania) vs. Men In Black ... can't talk about TSM until I ride. But MiB simply blows Buzz away in every aspect from real sets to guns that are easy to operate etc ... Buzz is a simple little ride. MiB isn't.

4. Star Tours vs. The Simpson's Ride ... haven't ridden the latter yet, so no opinion.

5. Indiana Jones Stunt Show vs. Sinbad's 8th Voyage ... Indy wins, but neither are that great and both need updating.

6. Space Moutain vs. The Mummy ... sadly, in 2008 the Mummy wins this easily. SM in its current condition is a joke.

7. Dinosaur vs. Spiderman ... Spidey by a mile ... no by 10 miles.

8. Winnie the Pooh vs. Cat in the Hat ... Ca tin the Hat by the same.

9. Lights Action Motors vs. Fear Factor Live ... they both suck, but one cost a whole lot more to do so.

10. Pirates of the Caribbean vs. Jurrassic Park ...c'mon ... how do you compare the two. Even in its dumbed down state with bad sound, PoC is a classic. A must for most guests. JP ... well, a better comparison might be to either Splash or Dinosaur (it would lose on both of those counts too) ... it's dinos were not all functional last month and besides, it cost me a nice cap (the first time I've ever lost anything on a ride anywhere in my entire life!) JP isn't bad when everything is working, but it isn't a classic by any stretch. It's not even a can't miss at IOA.

Splash Mountain, mainly because Ripsaw has been a mess since before it even opened, and very problematic in the upkeep dept.

The Simpsons easily wins this one, I've never liked Star Tours except for it's outside facade and queue.

This ones tough because I'm not a fan of the Indy movies, but the stunt show is decent, as is Sinbad, so it's a tie for me.


6. Space Moutain vs. The Mummy

The Mummy, I've never been a fan of SM.


7. Dinosaur vs. Spiderman

Spiderman, though Dinosaur is my fav ride at WDW.


8. Winnie the Pooh vs. Cat in the Hat

I'll take Cat in the Hat any day over poor Pooh Bear.


9. Lights Action Motors vs. Fear Factor Live

LMA easily trumps that crappy show known as FFL.


10. Pirates of the Caribbean vs. Jurrassic Park

Have not ridden JPRA so can't compare them.

Out of all the times I've been to Universal this is the one thing I have never stopped to see. But I love the Indy stunt show. Unfortunately I can't compare due to never seeing Sindbad.

The Mummy is amazing. As much nostalgia as I have for Space Mountain it can't even hold a candle to the Mummy. Maybe that will change after the refurb.

7. Dinosaur vs. Spiderman
Never liked Dinosaur so its Spiderman all the way here.

8. Winnie the Pooh vs. Cat in the Hat
I give this one a tie.

9. Lights Action Motors vs. Fear Factor Live
Fear Factor is awful, so its Lights Motors Action for me. I don't understand why this show gets so much hatred, aside from the cattle herding and sitting in the sun, the show itself was great.

10. Pirates of the Caribbean vs. Jurrassic Park
These two are such different rides that its hard to compare, but I have to go with Pirates here.

Now that I think about it, Splash Mountain should be compared to Jurassic Park. They both have the same big show elements. But hey, that's just my opinion.
