  • [Question] Timeshare Question

I was hoping to get some insight about my honeymoon to WDW in July 2011.

My fiancee's mother has a timeshare with Hilton Grand Vacation Club, and there is a program that allows them to trade through Resort Club International (RCI) to get reservations at many of the Villas and DVC properties, including Animal Kingdom Villas, etc. I was hoping that someone who had stayed at these locations as a NON-member of DVC would be able to answer a couple of questions.

    1. Will I be able to purchase the dining plan?
    2. Will I get resort benefits such as Magical Express, Extra Magic Hours, etc.?
    3. If we chose NOT to get the dining plan, would we recieve the 10% discount that DVC members get at many restaurants in the resort?

    Any insight would be appreciated.

    Re: Timeshare Question

I don't fit the criteria, but I can answer...
    1) you can buy the dining plan
    2) almost positive you can get those services
    3) not sure, but the DVC discount is only available at a few hotel restaurants anyway.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
