  • [Question] Booking at a disney hotel

Do you have to use a travel agent to book rooms at a Disney value hotel? And if you are booking less than 45 days in advance, do you have to pay the full amount at the time of booking?

You don't need to use an agent. You can book on-line or call Disney. And I believe you do have to pay for it if you are within the 45 days.

I have never booked a vacation that close to my travel time. However, all room reservation only bookings that I have made, only required one night's deposit, and the balance was due on my arrival.

Room only reservations only need a one night's deposit, with the balance due at check in.

The packages (room and ticket, or room, ticket and dining) are due in full 45 days in advance.

And unless you are getting a some special package deal the stand deals are no cheaper than buying your tickets and room separately so just do the room on the disney site and you only have the payment for the one night.
