  • News Orlando Beer Culture

Craft beer is usually not what comes to mind when thinking about Orlando. Walt Disney World, Universal Studios or another splashy theme park, yes, but not beer. Today, however, this landlocked central Florida city is getting a reputation for its growing craft beer scene. In the past few years, locals in the Orlando area have opened bars offering a wide selection of beers from small producers, and some are even opening spots that serve ales brewed in house.

    Re: Orlando Beer Culture

Central Florida in general is becoming a craft beer powerhouse. Just in the Tampa Bay area alone there's Florida Avenue, Cigar City, Dunedin Brewery, 7th Sun, Barley Mow, Cold Storage, Green Bench, Saint Somewhere, Three Palms and many more. My personal favorite is Cigar City (I visit their tasting room often), but Dunedin Brewery and Florida Avenue make some good brews too.

Florida Beer Co. in Melbourne is the brewery that makes the Duff Beer for Universal's Simpsons land.
