  • Epcot and AK character greetings

Hey! I'm going on a short trip this weekend to WDW (mainly to run in the NKF 5k), but while we are there we are going to Epcot and Animal Kingdom. I have a toddler and really want her to meet the princesses..we missed it last time As far as I can remember I haven't seen many princesses in those parks. Does anyone know if they princesses make their rounds, and where I could find them? I'll probably post a trip report after we get back. I haven't seen many trip reports with Disney races. Thanks!

    This may help

In Epcot, my daughter has run into Sleeping Beauty, Belle (in France), Jasmine (in Morocco), and Mary Poppins in England

At DAK, characters regularly make appearances at Rafiki's Planet Watch. Besides Rafiki and Jiminy Cricket, we saw Pocohontas there

If you want to spring for a lunch, they have the Princess Character dining at Akhershus in Norway. In the couple times we've eaten there we've never really had the same Princesses but if that's what your looking for then Norway is the way to go.

      Have a great trip!

There is also the Toontown Hall of Fame Tent back in Mickey's Toontown Fair in Magic Kingdom. You can stand in designated lines for many characters including princesses there. It is air conditioned and inside so weather does not affect their appearances. I have taken my daughters back there many times. And if you are looking or Ariel as a mermaid there is also Ariel's Grotto in Fantasyland where she has a permanet meet and greet location. But if you can'tmake it there, then the other posts pretty much have it covered. There is now a room in the back of Morroco that Aladdin has been in. I don't know if they are using it for Genie and Jasmine as well but make sure you walk to the back of Morocco if you don't see them out front. Belle and Beast have their own room as well in France. Look for the gloved Mickey hand signs that they usually hang above or near doors that lead to those rooms.

ORWEN: Princess Aurora is often found in France at Epcot's World Showcase, too! And then Snow White is often found in Germany. Us cauldron girls see them all the time.

Don't forget Snow White in Germany. Also, Character Spot is where you'll find some other core characters. Epcot is one of my favorite places to meet characters.

At DAK there's Camp Minnie Mickey, but Pocahontas and other characters can be found at Conservation Station.

Its the old name for Rafiki' Planet Watch. It has some hands on exhibits, a petting area (with goats, rabbits, etc) and the ability to watch the vets in action behind glass. You can only get there by a train ride and a short walk. Kids love it. There are repeated visits from characters always consisting of Rafiki. We also saw Jiminy Cricket, Pocohontas and I believe Meeko.
