I don't know if this resort counts as it is located in the Downtown Disney area, but my vote would be Buena Vista Palace. My husband and I were there last year and it was a beautiful resort. It was being renovated at the time, but for the most part it was close to being finished. The rooms were very large, contemporary style, flat screen TV's. I have to say the most comfortable beds I have EVER slept on!!! We opted for the "Disney view" and one night we watched the fireworks from Epcot AND the Magic Kingdom out on the balcony. Really cool!!! The pool was nice too. The location was great as it was right across the street from DD and the Marketplace. They have shuttle service to and from the parks as well. Only dissappointment? No Mickey soaps in the bathroom!!!

I really liked the Orlando World Marriott. It was very close to Epcot and we had a view of the parks (in the distance) from our balcony. We got really good service and a great price. I would stay here again.

I like the Double Tree Guest Suites at DTD. They are very nice and newly remodeled. They have a ton of space, fairly decent pool and food. Great cookies at check in (lol)
I loved that I could walk to DTD from my resort.

I love the Nickelodeon Family Suites off I-Drive. It's the only hotel I've ever stayed at where I was never bored and actually let my family go to Epcot without me. It's a dying breed however, since Marriott is doing a chain of Nick Hotels, so it's possible this place will only be around a little longer.

I like the Hotel Royal Plaza at Downtown Disney. It was recently renovated and it's beautiful.

The Rosen Shingle Creek is really nice. I got to stay there last fall for a work thing (otherwise it's waaaaay out of my budget).

The Lowes Portofino Bay and Hard Rock Hotel at Universal are great. Other than that, I didnt really like the Hotel Royal Plaza, although it was decent and clean.
