Spring Thriller Promotion

I was reading the most recent MousePlanet Disneyland update and I came across a section in the update entitled "EO or not EO" and it talks about a possible "Spring Thriller" promotion. The two highlights of the possible promotion is the return of Captain EO and a refreshed Tower of Terror with a random drop sequence! How exciting! :-)

And I was just wondering what had happened to the Captain EO rumors... ) They seem to fade away and then randomly appear again. ) I wonder if it is going to come back... maybe Disney just wants to wait until the last possible minute to announce it... :P

I really would like to see a random drop sequence.
Hopefully(if this promotion comes to be)"Spring Thriller" will be more successful than "Summer Nightastic".

It's close to midnight, and you still have a few more rides to hit.
Under the moonlight, you get to Pirates, Star Tours in a bit.
You try to run, but strollers and a wheelchair will prevent you.

But with the Spring Thriller promo...would this just be Eo, and the Drop Sequence? or will they try to add a new show (fireworks, stage show/etc) too?

This is probably the most tasteful way they could bring Captain EO back with out the cry babies crying. If you think about it they wouldn't even need to mention MJ's name. I can imagine the commercial with a voiceover saying "Spring Thiller featuring the return of the Disneyland classic "Captain EO"" or something like that.

Either way, if this is true we are getting two very awesome treats. I'm all for this promotion, even tough "Spring Thriller" is a stupid name.

The Article makes a good point about DCA not needing the Random Drop Sequence to draw crowds because of WoC. But the random drop sequence would be awesome
