While I was a day custodial CM, I can to the conclusion that if you had Harvard Alumni Day at Disneyland, the park would still be full of complete and utter morons. I swear- every guest thinks they are the only ones in the park.

my personal favorites are the parents who try and convince you its ok that a 35 inch child go on a ride with a 40 inch height requirement or even babies. Rollercoasters are great for babies and pregnat women.

Thats really not fair though. I treat cast members as well as my family. I dont throw the " but Im a passholder" crap in their face and quite frequently I say thank you sir or maam.

It may seem that there are more pylons out there than nice people, but I think that's just because a**holes are much more visible in public that folks that are behaving properly. I cringe everytime I hear the "I'm and AP therefore I desrve special treatment, and/or I know more than you." I'm embarressed for them / I want to beat upon them. Reminds me of NFL players who get pulled over by the cops and pull the "do you know who I am" routine.

I really feel for a lot of CMs having to put up with that kind of abuse on a daily basis. I couldn't do it. On the otherhand, CMs should not assume that they are going to be abused just because someone has an AP. I have encountered the occasional surly CM too, but they are by far the exception.

I always approached the subject of my AP with humility... When ever I use it for a discount and stuff, I always add the line... "I don't know if this really means anything..." Because in my mind, it doesn't...

On the other side of the equasion, I have seen some CM's go mental on me, partly because they are reacting to something else that happened to them...

I think it is great that there is a place for them to vent... Working with the public is not easy... And working in a place known for quality of customer service is even less easy... Power to the people, I say...

here is the thing, I didnt mind AP's when I 1st started but most ended up being A holes....... make that 90%...... the ones that were nice I was nice to back. Just remember what goes around comes around.

I totally understand and appreciate the fact that being an AP holder is a priviledge, much like I was told a driver's licence was supposed to be. Maybe that partly explains the new policy of continual and rapid AP price increases, so that people will better appreciate what they have... although in that case the same APs that now act like a__holes would really feel like they bought the right to be rude.

At any rate, buying an AP is a priviledge, not a right. And one NEVER has the right to be rude.

^ Noooooo!!! I had this famous Smiley incident that happened to me. A while back, before they changed the no food/no drink policy...again... these guidelines weren't allowed in attractions..so, one nite, Smiley came in the attraction. i told him that he drinks weren't allowed in, and that he can wait until he was finished. He told me that he always took his drink, and that it was ok for him to bring it in. I told him about the new guidelines.Then, he drank it like it was a shot, threw it on the floor, and stomped on it with his foot! He threw it away, and went on the attraction. When he exited, he lfted the lap bar up so hard, that it made a loud sound, and took off, kicking the trashcans!

Dramaqueen, it makes you much cooler than KoH! First of all, he doesn't have any stock. Second of all, nobody would be talking to him, and third, he wears a wedding band but isn't married. You've got him beat all over the board! :bow:
