  • DSLR camera strap?!?!?!

I'm completely lost as to where to post this since I'm not sure if my issue pertains to a photo thread, merchandise question, or WHAT but I'm pretty confident I can find an MCer to help me out here anyway!

I "splurged" on a new Disney camera strap for my bday a few months back, but I'm still unsure as to whether I attached it correctly or not. All the other straps I have are attached by looping the black tabs through the camera's (standard Canon Rebel) metal holders (tons of youtube videos confirm this). The Disney Parks strap (the 3/8" 'camcorder' size with all the icons) has metal triangle "rings" (like a keychain) that I attached to the metal on the camera.

I haven't had any problems with the strap and my camera, but in the back of my mind I'm still not sure if I did it right! Did I do it wrong? Can anyone please confirm instructions on attaching this strap? Thanks!
Wanna trade pins or power discs? PM me!
