Word to the wise- do not try to cheat these- they will figure you out! I signed my MIL up for the free photo iPod and they totally denied me my iPod, even though I got way more referrals than I needed. Something about the IP address. So just folow the rules and it really does work!

Are IP addresses related to the computer or the ISP you use?

no, it is the address your computer gets when you connect to the internet. I am not sure how they do it, but they know if you have more than one account from the same computer. It sucks cause all my referrals were legit, so now I am not trying anything funny, just posting my links and hoping for the best.

cause Mom and Dad were going to sign up for me- same ISP (all in one house) three different computers. I assume that will be ok- I've been working on this i-Pod thing for months!

Yeah, just make sure they use a different address! I worked a long time for my iPod too and got denied Good luck- I already have an iPod account or I would click you baby!

i'm not saying it is against MiceChat's rules, i think it is against freeipod.com's rules to post a link on a message board.

actually, they encourage you to post it on a message board if you are a member of it- they only say you should not post it where it is strictly prohibited or spam it.
