Request for help for a Fundraiser

Hello Gang!

For the past ten years my Mom has been working as a teacher (first) and now the secretary for the Special Needs Schools of Gwinnett, a private school for kids with special needs that range from Preschool-High School and beyond. The school will be holding its annual fundraiser Spaghetti dinner and silent basket auction on October 20th. I thought it would be really cool to put together a Disney themed basket and would like to know if any of you out there would be willing to donate to this cause.

Everyone that helps out will be recognized at the dinner, on the auction sheet (along with what is in the basket) and you'll probably end up receving some very cute and priceless Thank-you cards from the students as well.

I have a TON of appreciation for causes like this so I'm very interested. What would be the best way to donate the loot? Should I purchase a few "basket" sized Disney things and ship them, or send money directly? Feel free to drop me a PM or email and we can talk.

What I am looking for is items to put in a Disney themed basket that will be won in a silent auction with all the money going to the school. That auction will be held on the 20th of October during a spaghetti dinner fundraiser for the school. It would not be the only basket being bid on because there will be several that are donated by parents and teachers. The dinner and auction ends up being one of the most sucessful fundraisers of the year for the school.

I have plans to head over to the Disney store here in Roseville to pick up a few items for your basket tomorrow. I love shopping for things like this so it should be a fun way to relax after work.

If you are interested in assisting me with this there is a slight change. I am going to be out of town with family for a few weeks. However I expect to return in time to be able to put the basket together for the fundraiser. First of all thank you to all who have helped out so far. I am sure there are packages of items waiting for me when I arrive home tomorrow and I will respond to you personally with thanks.

Since my Mom is the chari for the fundraiser and since we needed to stay out here until the 20th, the spaghetti dinner and Silent Aution was moved back a few weeks to Friday, November 10th. So there is still time to assist me with this project if you haven't done so already.
