Thank you everyone for your prayers and thoughts. You all mean the world to me, and I'm so glad I have MC!!

Well, it's 6am and we have just gotten home from the hospital. My 10 year old daughter woke at 2am with a tummy ache, and wanted a bath. She started throwing up in the bath, and then had the runs. Couldn't keep even a mouthful of water down, it came straight back up. Then she was crying with stomach pain, and very listless and dizzy, so I rang the ambulence. When she got to the hospital they gave her this new med that's like a piece of paper under the tongue and she went to sleep. The dr came to see her and the meds had worked, so they made her drink water (600ml bottle) and she kept that down. After about 2 hours with not throwing up, they have let us home.

She threw up at school last wednesday but was fine that afternoon. She has lost the teeth at the middle (near the eye teeth) and she seems to get sick every time one breaks through. People think I'm crazy when I say I think she teething.

I sure hope that's all it is!! What really frightened me was that listlessness and the dizzyness.

No, hoping it's just a gastro bug. I just hope she stays OK once the meds wear off

Poor kid! I was afraid it might be food poisoning or something...

Those stomach flu bugs are getting very nasty!
I hope she gets some rest (and liquids) and feels better soon!

                  thanks so much everyone!

It's midday and we all just woke up. She said that she feels perfectly fine. I think the dizzyiness and light-headedness frightened her too, she said she felt like she was floating away. Very wierd!!!

Oh my goodness Tassie, how scary. Did they take x-rays to make sure it wasn't appendix?

Sending hugs to both of you!
