Minimum wage workers will get a 4% increase of pay.

The lowest paid workers in NSW have won a wage increase of four per cent.
Unions NSW says the NSW Industrial Relations Commission decided on Friday on an increase of $21.25 per week in the minimum wage, to $552.65.
The increase will take effect from next Tuesday, July 1.
Unions NSW deputy assistant secretary Matt Thistlethwaite said the decision would benefit around 220,000 workers and set a new benchmark for low-paid workers nationally.
"Today's decision means that NSW's lowest paid workers will be earning around $30 more per week than their colleagues in the federal IR system," Mr Thistlethwaite said in a statement.
"The discrepancy between NSW and the federal minimum wage highlights the importance of maintaining the NSW industrial relations system.
"It consistently leads the way, raising the bar for all Australian workers."
Many of the people benefiting from the increase in the minimum wage would be young people starting their first jobs and mothers returning to work in the services sector, he said.

Press today is so concerned with cool vs. not cool that they're starting to forget good vs. bad. I'm not sure I'll ever be "cool", but I will always tirelessly strive to be "great". - Josh Groban
