Will MC ever have a chat area and chat nights

I was just wondering if MiceChat would ever think about putting in a Chat area. I mean this is MiceCHAT.com. I would really like to talk to all of you in real time sometime in the near future!

That was always on my plans, but I'm a little worried about how you would monitor a live discussion.

well, you have some one moderate who has the power to kick and ban people...with proper warnings first...

or warn that it's unmoderated, but it may be easier to have scheduled times with a moderator who can be there.

Yeah, but that would require a mod to be on line all the time. I'm just guessing but I think most of these folks have "real" jobs...

I think from a liability perspective the un moderated thing might be a bad idea...

You could have a separate rep for the chat room. If people don't like your chat then you can give them bad rep and kick them out of the chatroom, then the rep could reset itself for the next day for the person. After being kicked out of chat four or five time their "Chat License" would be revoked. I saw a chat room like this before, but i can't remember where it was.

You could have it open on a trial basis..
