  • the random thought game.

add your random thought... only rule, each thought must be... well... random...

Think about how many chickens must be out there. With chicken everywhere, in resturants, grocery stores, disneyland, they are everywhere! They ain't big like cows either. One chicken can really only make a couple of meals.

Where do they keep all of them????? What if they were to revolt??? the human to chicken ration must be around 500,000 chickens for each human....

    Re: the random thought game.

I'm sorry, this following post is quite hard and heavy, scroll down if you are quite sensitive. But this is a thought thread.

I am not questioning people's belief in God, or whoever they put their faith in. I am no way against religious people, and I never let myself put people down for being faithful to a religion. But this is my outlook on God.

I once had a friend, who was mentally abused by her mother - and physically abused by her father. She was a very determined girl, who never let her home life get involved with her school life - she was never top of the class, but she was always the hardest worker. Her mother would drink until she was completely out of her head, and then her father would do unmentionable things to her - violent things, although there may be sexually-motivated actions involved, but she never told me if there were.

She would borrow foundation from her close circle of friends to cover up the bruises, and would always find an excuse for an inquisitive or worried teacher. She had always tried to be a religious girl, for she thought it was the right thing, but eventually she gave in. For every night while she tried to sleep, and every time she was forced to church by her mother, and every time a teacher told the class about miracles, she was always faced with the thought that - if God was so merciful, so compassionate about every soul, why did He allow her to go through so much pain every single night? Why did He allow an unloved, malnourished, severely neglected child to stay with her parents week after week, month after month, year after year?

When we transitioned from junior school to senior school, she went to a separate school in another town from me, and her circle of friends. I have never heard from her, but I, as she did night after night, question what God's motives were, if He exists at all, when He allowed her to go through what she did - and what she probably still is?

I am no way trying to convince people NOT to follow a religion - religion and faith helps countless people every day - but THAT is why I chose not to put MY faith in God.

does a pop tart really have to be put in the toaster, can I eat it like a big cold cookie? And why do they tell you to put it in the toaster when it comes out to hot to hold any way?

And, Lewis and Clark WERE their last names.
