Followed Al from the other site, read MiceAge for awhile, remembering seeing a letter to Al that said "We don't need forums! We got this letter section!", suddenly there being forums, joining, the rest is history
In 2005 when I was going to the park a lot I started to notice the geeks at The Hub. Then I stumbled onto this site and realised just who those geeks were. Had I known my inner geek in 2005 I'd have joined them.
Didn't read the associated forums here until Oct of 2007. Then, planning a solo trip to the DLR, saw that Micechat had weekly meets. Thought it would be a nice way to be social at least a couple of days while travelling, so I joined the forums.
I kept following Al around, and eventually Dusty and I thought we could combine our powers to make one of the best online communities. Now, over 30K strong, MiceChat continues to be not only a place that I love to be a part of, it remains my #1 soruce of friends, fun, and everything else that's great about life!
I was reading Al's articles from time to time, mostly ending up there via Google searches. Then I saw that MiceChat got started. I didn't join at first, but I occasionally read a few threads here and there. Eventually, I got more and more interested, and I joined, and I was hooked!
I was on another disney site then this one started so I started reading it but I didn't join until March!
Good morning, son
In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
It was pain
Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things... sigpic
