  • The Infamous and nearly R-rated Arizona UP! meet!

Thanks to the bidding of Queen (upgraded from Doctor) Earkid, the Arizona Micechatters met to see UP!

With Harkin's loyalty cups in hand we met at the Harkin's theaters at 32nd Street and Bell, at 11:45pm on Sunday June 7th. Thanks to Pratt55, who smuggled in some sweet treats, which also served as a source of entertainment throughout the movie!

Thankfully, they didn't throw us out, for the candy commotion, and we were allowed to watch the entire movie. At the exit, management did insist on taking a group mugshot, to identify us in the future (we'll have to keep moving these meets around, so they forget about us between trips to the individual theaters )

Afterwards we headed over to a hole in the wall restaurant, Chino Bandido, which has gained it's fame by serving Mexican Chinese fusion food, and great snickerdoodle cookies!

You choose a main course (mine was shredded beef with tomatoes and cilantro) add some rice (a variety of regular or several types of fried) and they also have a couple different types of refried beans. You can have the food served in a bowl (of an aluminum variety) or in a burritto or quesadilla.

There is never a lack of entertainment when the AZ micechatters get together!

Here we almost had an accidental release of some
    "interesting photos"!

It's REALLY just a coincidense that so many of us look like this:

And it's not too often you see two kids sitting in a Panda's Sombrero, while the Panda is still wearing it

See, there REALLY is a Giant Panda wearing a Sombrero!

As you can see, we really did have a lot of fun. And UP! is a fantastic movie. What's better than seeing it, than with great group of people, even people like the ones in the above pictures!
Critter Country's a mess ev'r since the Country Bears were kicked out. Ya can't cover pooh with honey and 'spect people ta like it.

It sure looks like you all had fun. Where does everyone live in Arizona? I live in Tucson. Maybe I can join your little micechat group.

Lou_mom here is a roll call of the Zonie Micechatter's and we always have room for more: http://micechat.com/forums/micechat-...ona-mcers.html

I'm going to include my photos also and hijack Aladdin's thread, why, because I can.

Arriving at the theater I was greeted by two of the Zonie hot men, DlandfansAZ and Goofy Golfer.

Queen Dr. Earkid and one of her nephews. He is such a cutie.

Queen Ms. Thumper and I exchanged royal greetings.

The prince and his princesses arrived in time.

        Please remain seated

shhh, its a movie quiet time.

        The AZ Royal Court

One week after rally and still not talking?

        Queen Dr. Earkid

Prince Aladdin (see if you can read the plaque behind him)

        Prince Aladdin and Queen Pratt55

The royal jesters. In the background you can see the great bags of gifts Prince Aladdin bestowed upon us all.

        The natives are getting restless

Queen Ms. Thumper had not been drinking for this mugshot

An early birthday gift for Goofy Golfer

WOW a singing and vibrating card!!!

He is going to look so hawt in these

Or will they be better suited for the Queen?

Kuzco then opened her belated birthday card and gift. She particularly liked the bag picked just for her.

We now officially dub thee Miss Princess Zonie Character Fan

OMG an almost normal picture of the one and only Kuzco

The Arizona Princesses then began a fight over Darkwing Chuck.

I'm not saying who won but a picture is worth a 1,000 words.

Food pictures, first up black bean tostadas.

This one is a combo of black beans, jerk fried rice, machaca quesadilla and jen red pork (sort of a sweet and sour pork)

        The cone of shame

        Group shot at Chino Bandido's

Yes, Guy did a segment on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives of one of our favorite places to go.

There is a long story of Pancho arriving at the restaurant from China where he was born and created. Lets just say always measure the doorways first

Can't wait to see everyone again and remember we will post the Zonie meets in the meets section of Micechat and everyone is welcome to attend.

          Awesome stuff.

When we come out to visit we have to do a Zonie meet. Maybe at Castle's and Coasters.

It looks like a great time was had by all.

One of these I'll have to travel out there to crash one of your events provided that you don't have a Cone of Shame section for non Zonies.

Thanks for all the great pics people that took pics when I was too lazy to
These do a fairly good good job of showing just how ridiculous we all are when unleased on a chinese/mexican food resturant ^_^

Famous Snickerdoodles huh? If I am ever down that way I will have to try them. Bet mine are better. Well now I know which kind of cookie to make for this weekend's PNW Micechat meet.

Great report folks. You guys look like you have almost as much fun as we do up here. )

That restaurant is hilarious! I want to go to there!

Looks like a good time was had by all, and I don't see any police in the photos, so that's always a good sign.
                      A signature should go here.

Or maybe we weren't having enough fun since there were no cops called
