  • Blue Coconut Drink Recipe?

Hi everyone! We went to Orlando last week...and we ate at the T-Rex restaurant. My husband really liked a non alcoholic drink they served called "shark water". We asked the waiter what was in it; he said Sprite and a non alcoholic version of a coconut cocktail mixer. He said the name, but it flew out of my head. Now that we're home...I'd love to make it for him...but, can't find the silly mix.

Does anyone have ANY idea what it could be?

    Thanks!

I'm guessing probably Blue Curacao. I tried doing a google search for Shark Water, and could only find "Shark in the Water" which also has Sprite and Blue Curacao... and vodka. Leave out the vodka and you've pretty much got a virgin drink.

    1 oz Vodka
    1 oz blue mix
    1/2 x sweet sour mix
    1/2 x sprite
1/2 oz strawberry mix (on top)

    Or

    1. Vodka - 1 oz.
    2. Blue Curacao - 1 oz.
    3. Strawberry Daiquiri Mix - 1/2 oz
    4. Lemon-Lime Drink Mix - fill

Blue Curacao has alcohol in it and is orange flavored, so I don't think that'd be it.

I'm guessing it'd be coconut cream or coco lopez. You should be able to find them, or a product like them in the mixers section at BevMo and places like that.

yeah, I thought it was curacao too....cause I thought I remembered it starting with a "C". But, since it's not coconut flavored, that might not be it.

I will try to find the coconut creme and coco lopez.

        Thanks!

Our Albertson's has a decent sized liquor section, pretty good selection of mixers. If you don't have a BevMo by you, you might want to start there. Good luck!

oops... I wasn't sure if that was alcoholic or if it was just one of the flavorings. (I'm all about the Midori myself. ) I just saw the blue in the name and figured that had to be it.
