  • Interviewing for Tony Robbins

Hey Fellow Mice Chatters- thought I would share this quirky fun moment! I have an interview tomorrow to join the Anthony Robbins Corp. That's Tony Robbin's company. The motivational speaker from Shallow Hal, come on people keep up!
This could be a really fun job the guy seems awesome and apparently everyone who works for this guy loves there job, I just want to be part of his enterouge, I mean look at all the women flocking to this guy!

Yeah, I know banana-hands. I rode in his Hummer with him once. Been to a few of his seminars when he's in town. He usually has them at the Anaheim Hilton, next to the Parks.

I was able to check out his jet once when it was at the airport, waiting for him to arrive. He has a chopper, too.

It's amazing what kind of income can be had from selling books, tapes and seminar tickets.

    Good luck!

          uhhh...

Good luck, I guess. It has a cult-like shady kinda feel to it, but if it's your thing, good luck.

Is anyone else here scared by Tony Robbin's teeth?

                  Just me? Never mind.

I've always found him scary! He reminds me of Lurch in the Adams Family. His movement has more than a whiff of "cult" about it but I wish you success with the interview. It appears that you are really excited about it and that's a big plus!

                          Re: Interviewing for Tony Robbins

Okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk wow what a crock! So I had a first interview Tuesday at 4. I arrive and the lady who scheduled the interview forgot to call it in so they weren't expecting me. I got stuck with two ladies who clearly were more interested in the fact I worked on Gilmore Girls then in my skills and abilities. They sent me home to return the next morning at 8:30 to see there boss.

Arrive Wed at 8:30- boss didn't even know I was coming, he asks me 3 very basic questions, the kind you would get on an interview at Carls Jr or something. Sends me to observe his staff on the phone.

The job entails this: Calling businesses- mostly real estate related- conviencing them to open there doors to a coach who will come give an hour long presenation on the Tony system. 9/10 you get no's despite the fact that its free. So you send this coach over there, he sells the office on the Tony system and sells 600 dollar tickets to come see Tony on a video screen for 4 days at some conference in a major city near you. 4 days, 45 hours all Tony, all the time, but he won't really be there.

So now- I would get 12 bucks an hour and 10 dollars of every ticket sold up to 50, 15 dollars off the first 100 and 25 dollars of the tickets up to 250 per cycles and cycles last 3 months- wow thats not a good commission structure at all and its cold calling. Wow that's a bucket of suck.

                          Next job please!
