hello Everyone I'm new =)

I'm kinda new to Micechat and don't know exactly where to start. I posted on the "introduce yourself" thread but nobody seems to be there. So I hope it's okay if I introduce myself personally =).

this is my first time being in the forums. However I like going to Miceage to see the weekly updates they've been doing at the parks.

Well I'm a 20 year old College art student. My career choice is varied. either media and commercial artist, or animator. My main goal is to be a concept designer for upcoming attractions for Disney...yup a Disney Imagineer lol but thats a long far off dream of mine.

I do have some of my work posted in my pics if anyone is interested in seeing them. Glad to finally sign up for this lol.

Welcome to Mice Chat! I hope you can find as much joy here as I have. Almost everyone here is wonderfully friendly (some of us can be a little harshly opinionated), but don't let that ever get to you! Thanks alot. well I do hope I'll have a nice experience here. Where should I start though? I'm very much interested in Disneyland lol. and I've heard Micechat/Miceage holds special events of some sort at the parks. either that or it's just my imagination.

A great place to get started is to read our main page every day for the top content: MiceChat - A Different Look At Disney

Then go to the main forums directory and browse down for the main categories you'd be interested in: MiceChat - Powered by vBulletin
If you are looking for events, browse down to the "Meets and Events" section. If you are looking for Hong Kong Disneyland, scroll down to "Hong Kong Disneyland." Entertainment is located under "Entertainment" etc. you keep drilling down from there until you find a discussion that you feel like reading.

If you are researching a certain topic, ("Haunted Mansion" for example), visit the custom search box at the very top of our site in the header image for the site. When you type in a search phrase or word, it will search MiceChat, MiceAge, and our partner sites for the content you are looking for! Very cool and very fast!!

Finally, there is the "New Posts" link at the top of the site (you'll only see the link if you are logged in), which pulls up the currently most active discussions based upon the time of the last post.

There is SO much going on at MiceChat at any given time that it can be hard to keep up. But don't worry, we post a "Weekly Round Up" of the top discussions and news every Wednesday. You'll find the link on the MiceChat front page.
